  1. Fantastic campaign. I’ve pressed the council and our local MP for more trees in the area (particularly mine on Torridon Road), but have been met with little success. Looking forward to hearing your ideas.

  2. Transport for London have planted new trees on A21 Rushey Green over recent years and they might be able to plant more, worth getting them involved. Although some trees have been lost to vandalism increasing awareness of the value of trees could help protect them.

  3. Thank you so much for this. I’ve just come across this campaign and it’s really made my day.
I’ve been worried about the rate of diminishing trees around where I live for some time, ever since they cut down a truly beautiful cherry tree by a crossing over the Ravensbourne in Ladywell Fields. They planted a (dead) tree in its place. At this time of year, it would have been coming into bud and would have been a magnificent sight, as far as Silvermere Road. It was healthy and looked amazing against a blue sky. I don’t know why they cut it down. Since then I’ve noticed how many more mature trees have been razed in Catford. I want it to stop, and I’d very much like the council to replant even more trees that could grow as tall as the trees we’ve lost. So thank you for starting this campaign and I wish you success. I will help out in any way I can.
